Start with movement on the court

Pick a computer match to learn how the player moves and where a shot starts. Moving into space first gives you a clearer view of the ball and opponent than pressing several action keys at once.

The official one-player instructions list W/A/D for movement, B to shoot or steal, and S for a pump fake. Use the game’s current on-screen instructions if it presents a different binding for the selected mode.

Keep the current key set nearby

Open the Controls card while learning the one-player inputs. Expand keeps the court and the reminder together in the same desktop view; closing the card returns more width to the court.

Basketball King and Basketball Kings can lead to different games. This page covers the FreezeNova browser edition and does not promise online matchmaking or tournament completion.

Quick controls and leaving the game

Check which side you control before the match begins. This page’s first-match keys are for one-player play.

Choose Exit game in the toolbar to close the player. Reload opens a fresh game window and may end the current attempt. Reading a control card does not pause the game.
