Velvet Alibi 0.1.0 — Original local prototype An imposter word game for 3–8 people sharing one screen. One random player has no secret word. The most-voted player is accused; ties let the bluffer escape. The group wins only when its sole accused player is the bluffer. There is no final guess. Category hints are optional. AI, remote rooms and chat are not provided. All 80 words were curated for this project; no competitor word list, cards, interface text, character assets or code was copied. Artwork is newly drawn SVG. No gameplay requests, analytics, remote fonts or external images are used. The game retains only non-secret preferences. A live deal is memory-only and is lost on reload. Hiding a card or leaving the window clears the secret from the visible interface. This is a social hand-off aid, not a security boundary against somebody inspecting their own browser or watching another player's screen. Velvet Alibi is a working title. This notice is not a trademark clearance or a claim of affiliation with any existing party-game publisher. Main-site shell integration 1 (2026-10-20): collection navigation points to /#games. In a same-origin host, an explicit collection-link click requests player exit through a source-checked message. Standalone sibling promotion links are omitted. The complete original license texts remain in this package.
